It was a little hard for me to reach around the back of my head, so it ended up like this
I thought it turned out pretty great! I did find that it looks best if you pull out the braid a little bit as you're going to make the braids look thicker and closer together.
Although, if you get someone to do it for you, this is what it looks like on my little sister
